Family Law Section Meeting & CLE

Description: This presentation will use a case study format to identify issues encountered in a complex support matter. The case study will include a review of various income tax returns in order to identify items of income and expense and their impact on disposable income available for support. Topics covered will include wages, investment income, rental income, and business income from various types of companies.

Carli  Lehr
Carli Lehr

Carli is the Director of Brown Plus Transitions. In this role, Carli assists clients with their need for services such as business valuations, M&A advisory services, litigation support services and exit planning across Central Pennsylvania and Maryland. Prior to specializing in these areas, Carli served clients in the areas of audit, tax planning and compliance, and various consulting services. She has also served as a CFO in the private sector.

Carli graduated magna cum laude from Juniata College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Carli earned her Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) designation from the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts. She is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as well as a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) from the Exit Planning Institute (EPI) and Certified Mergers & Acquisitions Advisor (CM&AA) from the Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors (AM&AA).

Carli serves as the Co-Vice Chair of the Collaborative Professionals of Central Pennsylvania. She has presented for Valuation Products and Services (VPS) and the Virginia Society of CPAs and is a member of the VPS Valuation Advisory Group, a group of business valuation advisors responsible for reviewing articles written by VPS in its Hardball with Hitchner publication.
