William L. Adler, Esquire began practicing law with his father and grandfather in 1983, primarily in the fields of estate administration, estate planning and real estate. He has served on a number of director boards, including that of the Jewish Home of Greater Harrisburg, Neighborhood Dispute Settlement (a volunteer mediation organization) and the Dauphin County Bar Association as chair of the solo committee and the Estate Planning and Probate Section. He started lecturing on retirement planning for attorneys beginning around 2013 for the Dauphin County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Institute.
Paul Cockeram is a professor of rhetoric, literature, and creative writing with an extensive background in existentialist philosophy. He has a Bachelor’s degree in English and Theatre Arts, a Master’s in English from Iowa State University, and a Masters of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Idaho. He lives and works in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania with my wife, the writer Jennifer Hirt.
Brian S. Quinn, Esquire is a licensed attorney in Pennsylvania who currently serves as the Education and Outreach Coordinator for Lawyers concerned for Lawyers of Pennsylvania, Inc., a Lawyers Assistance program established in 1988 for the purpose of helping lawyers, judges and law students recover from alcoholism, drug addiction and mental health disorders.
Mr. Quinn obtained his undergraduate degree in 1970, his law degree in 1973 and a certificate in Drug and Alcohol counselling in 2012, all from Villanova University. In addition to his position with Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers in 2017, Mr. Quinn has been engaged in private practice for nearly 50 years as well. His practice is now limited to estate planning and administration.
Mr. Quinn has also worked in the field of Alcohol and Drug Counselling in suburban Philadelphia.
Mr. Quinn is a past member of the Board of Directors of Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers of Pennsylvania and served as a peer volunteer prior to accepting his current role as the organization's Educator.
Mr. Quinn has conducted CLE presentations for Bar Associations, private law firms and professional organizations, as well as for CLE providers, on a variety of topics in the fields of Lawyer wellness and impairment in the legal profession. He is a nationally recognized educator and wellness advocate.
Stephanie Latimore is the Director of the Legislative Reference Bureau in Harrisburg, where she leads a staff of more than 70 employees in an executive management role, prepares legislation and regulatory material, classifies enacted law, renders legal advice to executive and legislative officers and employees, responds to public inquiries on statutory and regulatory materials and conducts legal research for the Pennsylvania General Assembly. She is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Maryland School of Law. Ms. Latimore is an active member and Woman Governor member of the Board of Governors of the PBA and has served in many key leadership roles, including past Co-chair of Women in the Profession, for which she was awarded the PBA President’s Award for Excellent Programming; past president of the Pennsylvania Bar Institute; former Minority Governor-at-Large on the PBA Board of Governors; past chair of the PBA Minority Bar Committee; and past chair of the Editorial Board. She served as co-chair of PBA Bar Leadership Institute and has served on the Judicial Evaluation Commission for over a decade. Ms. Latimore is the current chair of the Quality of Life Committee of the Dauphin County Bar Association. She has taught at the Penn State University Middletown Campus as an adjunct professor for the Paralegal Program. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
